Resin is a durable and strong medium, leaving a high gloss, protective finish that allows for a variety of desired effects you can create for your art piece.

Firstly you will make the petal shapes out of wire and once happy with these, they will be dipped in the resin, and then left to dry.

They will all be linked together with wire so you can make the flowers.

This is a 3 hour Workshop session as there are lots of petals to make.

Come and have some chilled out painting time with this wooden Highland Cow Workshop with Tutor Kim.

Botanical Casting, which is fun, relaxing and will be taught step-by-step at your own pace with me demonstrating along side you.

You will learn how to prepare the base, then a little bit of flower arranging onto this surface to ensure all details can be seen.

Please bring your own foliage or flowers to inspire you if you wish, but I will have what is in season or artificial pieces too.

Once your botanical design is ready you’ll create a mix and pour this over your artwork. Sounds crazy, right?!

While this is drying roughly 30-45 minutes, we can enjoy a drink and a yummy cake while we chat about how to finish your design off and possibly practice painting a sample piece.

Then to the exciting part to reveal your one-of-a kind unique masterpiece.

Please bring an apron as it will be a little messy!!!

When you emboss metal, you participate in an art form that has existed for centuries.

Metal embossing is used to impart a design upon metal sheets. The metal is pushed with an embossing tool or stylus in order to create a raised effect on the opposite side. By placing the metal sheet on a rubber or foam pad, the positive impression has a smooth surface that will shine or can take pigment.

You will be provided with everything to make 1 of 6 heart designs by tracing the pattern then transferring this onto the metal.

I will then guide you on how to get the 3D effect and the vintage look.

You can add a ribbon to finish off your Duck or even add a Santa or Elf hat if you wish and you can give it a name as well !!!!

Come and have some chilled out painting time with this wooden Highland Christmas Themed Cow.

The head comes in sections and all you have to do is paint it with Christmas in mind. Just lots of different colours so it ‘pops!’ The brighter the better!

Then we’ll put it altogether when it’s dry so you can hang it on your wall with pride.

My Husband loved mine that I did, he was really impressed and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it !

No artistic skills needed, you don’t have to be a Picasso, it’s just having loads of fun with friends. Very chilled out and a relaxing workshop.

£39 covers you for all your materials, a cob of your choice (please pre-order with me) and a drink of your choice.

This is a 2 1/2 hour workshop.
